85th Birthday wishes to HRH the Duke of Kent Royal, patron of the Dresden Trust

The Dresden Trust congratulated HRH The Duke of Kent, the Trust’s Royal Patron, on his 85th birthday on 6th October 2020.

In a letter, Chairman Marcus Ferrar wrote: “For many years, you have been a driving force behind The Dresden Trust and have contributed immensely to the warm, friendly relations which have developed with the people of Dresden and the rest of Germany. You have performed an honourable role to great effect.”

The Duke has been a regular visitor to Dresden, the last time on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the bombing of the city by the British and U.S. air forces.
